Brady Owes Trophy Maker An Apology…FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' celebration after winning Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs has become almost as legendary as the game itself. 68-year-old head coach Bruce Ariens is out partying until 4 am, drinking on various late shows, and swearing at the parades. I personally can't recall a boat parade or seeing Tom Brady needing to be held up. So of course things got a little crazy and it almost seems fitting that the G.O.A.T. completed a boat-to-boat pass with the Lombardi Trophy. Was it a little shocking? Sure! Does Brady owe an apology? NO!
Lorraine Gohl is the daughter of the man that crafted the Lombardi Trophy Greg Grohl, and she'd like an apology from Brady. According to NESN Larraine is pretty mad. “I personally would like an apology, not just to me and my family and the other silversmiths but to the fans, all the football fans the other team players,” Grohl said in an interview with FOX4 in Florida. “It just upset me that this trophy was disgraced and disrespected by being thrown as if it was a real football.”
She didn't sleep over this?! Sounds like Lorraine could use a few shots of Avocado Tequilla! A few sayings come to mind, "No blood...No foul" I say this because the most skilled quarterback we've ever seen completed a pass. If the trophy were damaged Brady would completely be accountable for it. How about "When you're a hammer everything looks like nails!"? The thing looks like a football and he threw it!
I'm a Patriot hater, and personally, I'm sick of seeing Tom Brady in the Super Bowl and even I can laugh this off!
Where was Lorraine Grohl when Rob Gronkowski used the Patriots Super Bowl LIII Trophy to bunt a baseball? That thing has a dent in it and she said nothing!
I would like to have the name "Karen" removed as the name associated with annoying privilege and "Lorraine" to be the new name we curse when gross overreaction and entitlement hits the internet.
