Buffalo Bills Re-Sign Valuable Wide Receiver

The start of unrestricted free agency in the NFL begins next week, with the legal tampering period beginning on Monday, March 14th at noon. The date teams can officially sign free agents begins on Wednesday, March 16th at 4 pm.

The Buffalo Bills have quite a few players who are set to hit the open market.

Those players include edge rusher Jerry Hughes, cornerback Levi Wallace, running back Taiwan Jones, defensive tackle Harrison Phillips, quarterback Mitch Trubisky, and wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie.

One of the Bills pending UFA's will not be hitting the open market, as he has re-signed with the Bills.

According to Mike Garafolo of The NFL Network, the Bills are re-signing wide receiver Jake Kumerow to a one-year deal.

Kumerow is a veteran wide receiver who played during injuries' last season and was a value on special teams for the Bills.

Kumerow's re-signing might mean that Sanders and McKenzie are gone but the door is still open for their return. There's some reason to believe that general manager Brandon Beane decides to tale a big swing at a free agent wide receiver or drafts one in the first two rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Kumerow brings value for his awareness and special teams play. The Bills might not have Cole Beasley back either, as he has been allowed to seek a trade. It's good the Bills were able to get one of their receivers back for 2022.
