The Yankees' bullpen imploded on Wednesday night in a 4-0 to the Blue Jays but ESPN's Buster Olney told Armen and Levack that there's actually good news in all of this.

"I think that in the last six days, [the Yankees] learned some good things about the bullpen," said Olney, on 104.5 The Team. "Everything did not go right, but [Girardi] generally learned that Caleb Cothman is someone that he can generally have trust for.

"He’s learning about other guys in that group that he can structure. Part of the reason he probably took Nova out [Wednesday] night with two outs in the 6th inning was that he hadn't pitched in a while. I tend to view with what we’ve seen with the Yankees over the last six days has been a good time for them, despite going 3 and 3."

In all honesty, the Yankees bullpen depth might not even matter if the Yankees can't get past the one-game wild card that they are targeted to play on October 6th.

ESPN's Buster Olney joins Armen and Levack every Thursday at 5:15p ET, sponsored by All Star Wine and Spirits, and exclusively from 104.5 The Team.
