Can The NY Yankees Comeback And Win Game 3 Of The World Series?
The New York Yankees have really dug themselves a hole by losing the first two games of the series in Los Angeles. They had the Dodgers right where they wanted them and then Nasty Nestor Cortes gave up a walk off grand slam homerun to Freddie Freeman. Gerrit Cole pitched excellent but manager Aaron Boone made some questionable decisions with the bullpen to say the least. The Yankees however are now playing their first World Series game in fifteen years at Yankee Stadium. The crowd and atmosphere will be rocking and the Yankees fans have to rally behind them. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
The New York Yankees must win game 3 of the World Series on Monday against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Yankee Stadium or the series is over. And Aaron Judge needs to show up and contribute. Judge is a great regular season player who's awful in the post season but that needs to change if the Yankees are winning the World Series. The Yankees can't solely rely on Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton to carry them, they need some help. Judge needs to deliver, or this season will end in total disappointment.
The Yankees will win Game 3 and believe it or not MJ will be in the house. I hope for his sake they win as it will be a once in a lifetime experience. The Yankees will make this a series for sure but boy does Aaron Judge need to step up in a big way.
