Can The UAlbany Men Save Their Season Tonight At Vermont?
It all comes down to Tuesday night for the UAlbany men's basketball team. They have to beat their bitter rival, the Vermont Catamounts on the road at Patrick Gymnasium in Burlington and NJIT has to lose at New Hampshire for them to get into the America East Conference Tournament as the eight seed. Head Coach Dwayne Killings and his team have shown a lot of heart to stay alive by beating both UMBC and NJIT at home at McDonough Sports Complex. Players such as Gerald Drumgoole Jr and freshman Jonathan Beagle have been carrying the team all season offensively. Daquan Davis has stepped big time over the last few games and Marcus Jackson has been huge on defense, he just needs to stay out of foul trouble.

MJ and I discussed the matchup earlier this morning right here on Big Board Sports before making our road trip to Burlington. We both are looking forward to this matchup as Vermont is the number one overall seed for the AE Tournament and you wonder how hard they will go tonight. But then again, it is a rivalry game and it is senior night. Head Coach John Becker will play hard and UAlbany has only beaten Vermont once since 2016. Below is our full conversation on this.
I hope UAlbany plays really well and can extend their season but it will be a very tall order to say the least. I think it will be close and competitive as UAlbany has nothing to the lose with the chance that their season could end in 40 minutes tonight.
