The 2023 Ryder Cup is set to start this week in Rome Italy and I can't wait for it.  The passion from both the United States and Europe is unlike any other professional golf event on the schedule during the year.  The fans are always electric and this year should be no different.  Both teams are stacked with some of the best players on Tour.  USA probably has the better team on paper but they haven't won in Europe in forever.  Guys like Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa, and Brooks Koepka return from the US winning team in 2021 with some exciting newcomers too including Brian Harman, Wyndham Clark and Max Homa.

MJ and I were joined by our good friend Mark Cannizzaro from the New York Post earlier this morning right here on Big Board Sports.  Mark is a long time golf writer and columnist.  He is currently in Rome on the six hour time difference and is very excited for this Ryder Cup.  He mentioned how it's been a very long time since the US last won on European soil and even talked a little New York jets with us as that used to be his beat with the New York Post.  Below is our full interview with him.

The tee times are early so make sure you check before the event begins on Friday morning very early here on the East Coast.  I expect another great and competitive Ryder Cup and encourage everyone to tune in and watch if they can.
