Tonight is the first game of the regular season for the Atlanta Hawks, the New York Knicks and of course the Capital Region's own Kevin Huerter. Huerter has the eyes of the entire area on him tonight as he plays against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. We asked Kentucky Assistant Coach Tony Barbee what we could expect from Kevin Knox. His answer gives me hope.

The NBA Summer League has never really held my attention. As a Knicks' fan it's been rare in recent history that the Knicks even had a first round pick let alone one as exciting as Kevin Knox. I almost feel bad because second round pick Mitchell Robinson has also been good but Knox has been awesome.

New York Knicks' 2018 first round draft pick Kevin Knox is super exciting and fun to watch. In the Summer league game against the Atlanta Hawks he was a dunking machine scoring 22 points and drawing four fowls on apposing players. The kid jumps out of the gym and has no fear when it comes to contact. I'm fully aware that this is the NBA Summer and there will be a serious step up when the regular NBA pre-season begins not to mention the regular season but Knox adds an excitement on the court the Knicks have been missing.
