New York Mets Announce Future Triple A Affiliate

During the press conference Governor Andrew Cuomo along with others announced the franchise's new nickname "The Mets" . Some fans are upset by the change from Chiefs to Mets. The nickname Chiefs for the Syracuse baseball team has been a fixture since the 1930s.
