CCHS Boys’ Soccer Hosting ‘Pink Game’ on Oct. 13
As you can tell from watching any NFL game, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. There are several great events that promote trying to find a cure for breast cancer, and locally, one of them is being put on by Catholic Central High School.
On October 13, the CCHS Boys' soccer team is hosting Watervliet in its "Pink Game." Players are taking in donations and fans are asked to donate as well - as all money taken in goes to the American Cancer Society.
A 50/50 raffle will also be held, with money going to the ACS.
We brought on Crusaders head coach Greg Relyea today to learn about the event, which takes place at 6:30 p.m. that night.
Relyea is a survivor of Leukemia and lost his mother to breast cancer, so this event hits home for him.
It's another great example of the Capital Region coming together for a great, great cause.
