The gritty Nate Robinson turned in the block of the year so far this season on Saturday night against the Brooklyn Nets.

Bulls guard Nate Robinson isn’t exactly seven feet tall.  Robinson is closer to 5’8”, but he plays much bigger than his height.  Take, for instance, this stellar sequence by Nate Robinson.  After hitting a nice baseline jumper, Robinson hustled to the other end of the court to swat a MarShon Brooks shot attempt.  Who says they don’t play defense in the NBA?

I hate when people say there is no defense played in the NBA.  Others say that there isn’t any defense played until the final six minutes of an NBA game.  Those people are basically saying, “Hey, I don’t watch the NBA much and I have no idea what I’m talking about.”  Thank you, Nate Robinson.  Thank you for playing defense in the 1st quarter and helping to dispel this stupid myth.

The Bulls were able to outlast the Brooklyn Nets 83-82 on Saturday night.  The Bulls are just slightly better than the Nets this season.  Chicago is now (13-9) while the Nets dropped to (13-10).
