" Everyone was bullied at some point, and we didn't even have cyber bullying."

Jeter's retirement has given him a lot more time to spend focused on improving the foundation. " I am busier, just not physically busy, but I have plenty to do." Jeter said. The transition of retirement hasn't been a hard adjustment for the 5x World Series winner " I don't miss the daily grind of playing."  he would add that " I recommend retirement to everyone."

Jeter said he was not shocked about his old teammate Alex Rodriguez's success " Nothing surprises me, he has had a lot of success throughout his career. Alex works as hard as anyone I've played with."

Whether he's on the field flicking the ball to Jorge Posada, or off the field in a cornfield picking vegetables. Derek Jeter continues to be an enormous influence to those around him in a positive way.
