Both starting pitchers, The Brewers Randy Wolf and The D-Backs Joe Saunders lasted only 3 innings. Wolf was rocked from the start giving up 5 runs in the 1st with the Grand Slam to Roberts and the solo shot to Young. Wolf had a scoreless 2nd but gave up two more runs in the 3rd off the bat of pinch hitter Collin Cowgill. Saunders wasn't as bad but he didn't have his best stuff giving up a run in each of his 3 innings. Arizona Manager Kirk Gibson not risking any more runs, went to his bullpen in the 4th.

Both the 4th and 5th innings were scoreless but the Brewers would score in the 6th with a Corey Hart Sacrifice Fly. The Diamondbacks would in turn get their 4 run lead back with a solo home run by Aaron Hill.

In the Bottom of the 7th, Chris Young would blast his second Home Run of the night, a two run shot off reliever Chris Narveson. The Brewers didn't go down without a fight as Carlos Gomez would hit a two run shot off of reliever David Hernandez in the top of the 8th. JJ Putz however would put away the the heart of the Brewers batting order in the Top of the 9th to send this series to a fifth game in Milwaukee.

Game 5 will be this Friday afternoon at 5:07. Ian Kennedy will pitch for the Diamondbacks against Yovani Gallardo for the Brew Crew. 104.5 The Team is your home for all the playoff action, so be sure to check out this game on Friday.
