The Buffalo Bills are getting ready to play the New England Patriots for a Thursday Night Football matchup.

Today is the final practice in Orchard Park before the team flies to New England on Wednesday, and there's a bit more optimism surrounding the team the last few days.

The optimism is because the team is slowly but surely getting healthier.

Edge rushers Greg Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa were both full participants at practice on Monday, as was center Mitch Morse. Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds is on track to play as well. All four missed the Thanksgiving Day game at the Detroit Lions.

However, edge rusher Von Miller was already ruled out by head coach Sean McDermott with his lateral meniscus tear and there's concern another key player won't be able to play this Thursday.

Left tackle Dion Dawkins won't practice once again on Tuesday with an ankle injury. We have to see what his injury designation is later today, but chances are he will be listed as questionable or doubtful for Thursday night.

Dawkins was also hurt against the Lions and is a valuable piece of the Bills offense. He protects Josh Allen's blindside.

If Dawkins cannot go the Bills would likely turn to either veteran David Quessenberry or Bobby Hart tp start. Quessenberry has only played right tackle for the Bills this season, while Hart can play both guard and tackle; although he's more suited at guard.

Second-year tackle Tommy Doyle was lost for the season in September, so if Dawkins can't go, the Bills will only have two pure left tackles left (Quessenberry and Justin Murray).

The Bills will also be facing one of the NFL's best lass rushers, Matthew Judon.
