Dirk Nowitzki Says Game 5 Our Game 7

A pivotal Game 5 of the NBA Finals takes place in Dallas tonight between the Heat and the Mavericks.  Dirk Nowitzki says, "This is our Game 7."  He's right.

Dirk Nowitzki has been fantastic in the NBA Finals so far.  He hit critical shots in Dallas' two wins in Game 2 and Game 4.  He's played through a torn tendon in his left middle finger and fought through a triple-digit fever and sinus infection in Game 4. 

Dirk has stepped up in the NBA Finals and has a simple message for his team.  "You don't want to give them two chances to close it out at home, so this is our Game 7 and the last home game for this year in this building.  It should be a great atmosphere and hopefully we can pull it out."

Game 5 of the NBA Finals begins at 9pm ET this evening.  The game can be seen on ABC.  We will join the game in progress on 104.5 The Team, ESPN Radio following the conclusion of Yankees vs. Red Sox.
