I love Dirk Nowitzki. I petitioned hard for “Team Dirk” during last season’s heroic Championship run, and I can say with certainty that he is my favorite player in sports that doesn’t play on one of my teams.

Many may ask, why the man crush? Is it his flowing blonde locks? Perhaps its the way he looks like a hungry German Zombie when he’s in the zone? Or, is it his unmatched work ethic, unstoppable turn-around fade, and unreal awe-inspiring arch? Well, to be honest I like my Dirk short haired, but the rest is all part of it.
