Do The New York Jets Have Any Chance Of Winning Thursday?
The New York Jets are absolutely pathetic. They currently sit at 2-6 overall after a brutal loss to the New England Patriots. There are no more excuses with this team and organization as they have so many weapons especially on offense and are supposed to have a good defense. You can't lose to your AFC East rival Patriots who have a rookie quarterback starting the game. Aaron Rodgers seems to be lacking leadership and again maybe former head coach Robert Saleh was not the problem after all. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
The New York Jets who host Houston Thursday is one of the NFL's biggest disappointments having lost 5 straight, and it starts with quarterback Aaron Rodger's who has not lived up to expectations. Despite a 2-6 record the Jets can still make a push for the playoffs because they have enough talent on both sides of the ball and not the hardest schedule in the second half of the season. But they need Rodgers to play better even though we all know he's only a shell of how great he used to be.
Next up for the Jets are the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football. They are very good and are division leaders. I think the Jets will lose again and get to 2-7 overall. Even with Davante Adams now on the team the Jets still can't seem to get it right. I hope the Jets can get the upset win but I would be very surprised if they did.
