Where and when will the hiring event be?
The job fair will be held at the Honda Tent at Canalside near Key Bank Center on Wednesday, June 9, between 12 and 4 p.m.
What jobs are they looking to fill?
They have jobs for Game Day Support staff to help out during Toronto Blue Jays games while they're here in Buffalo. The positions are in food service, specifically:
- Cashiers
- Cooks
- Porters
- Stand Managers
- Commissary
What qualifications will I need?
According to the job description given, you'll need these qualifications:
- Willing to stand for long periods of time
- Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures
- A passion for teamwork and an ability to communicate and interact positively in a team setting
- Excellent customer service skills and creative problem solving
- Able to adapt to a variety of roles on a game by game basis
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple priorities and perform well under pressure
- Working knowledge of baseball/Toronto Blue Jays, and/or expertise
- Must be at least 18 years old
Who are they hoping to hire?
They're looking to hire just about anyone over the age of 18 but added that it would be a perfect job for someone who is home from college and looking for a summer job.
