Giants’ Saquan Barkley Tears ACL Officially Out For Season
ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter is reporting that New York Giants Running Back Saquan Barkley does indeed have a torn ACL in his right knee and is scheduled for season-ending surgery soon.
Yesterday saw many NFL stars get carted off the field including Barkley. The Giants will now look to continue the growth of second-year QB Daniel Jones without his best weapon in the backfield. Barkley missed three games last year but was a key part of not only Jones' advancement but also had to be a major part of rookie head coach Joe Judge's hopes for a winning season. The Giants have already scheduled a workout with former Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman.
