Hoosic Valley topped Mechanicville, 5-0. John Rooney had a double and single for the winners and combined with J.T. Sawyer for the pitching victory.

In girls lacrosse, Niskayuna whipped Saratoga, 16-7. Kayla Treanor put together four goals and six assists for the Warriors. Emily Ryan added four goals.

Morgan Hardt tallied five goals and an assist to propel Guilderland past Colonie, 18=3, in a Class A quarterfinal game.

Kelly Wall scored five goals and Kristen Connors contributed four goals and an assist to power Shenendehowa past Bethlehem, 12-5, in a Class AA matchup.

Shaker whipped Columbia, 17-1, as Kaitlyn Cheney had three goals in a balanced offensive display.

Many of the games that were scheduled on Tuesday were postponed due to rain or unplayable field conditions.
