Hoffman Prepping For Futures Game (AUDIO)

Congratulations to Shaker High School product Jeff Hoffman, who was selected to represent the Colorado Rockies and Team USA at the MLB Futures Game this Sunday in San Diego.

The game, which is a precursor to the MLB All-Star Game, features some of the top talent in all of Minor League Baseball.

Hoffman is 4-7 with 4.03 this year in AAA with the Albuquerque Isotopes as he works his way through the system. He'll be with Colorado soon enough in the Big Leagues.

He joined us today to talk about his season, what it's like being selected for the Futures Game, if he knows when he'll be brought up to Colorado, what the environments are like at the PCL parks, and what he thinks about Shen grad Ian Anderson being drafted in the first round of the Major League draft.
