The UAlbany men's lacrosse team won the America East championship yet again under Scotty Marr.  They beat a good Vermont team in a close 12-11 game.  Led by players such as Grayden Hogg and Jake Piseno the Great Danes capped off what was a special season and they dominated America East conference play with only one loss.  The crowd looked awesome as well at Casey Stadium.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
UAlbany head coach Scott Marr is taking a team to the NCAA tournament for the 10th time in 24 years and first since 2018 when the Great Danes made it to the National Semifinals. Marr is a brilliant lacrosse coach who not only put UAlbany on the map nationally, but he's helped grow the sports popularity in the high schools too. This year's team played a very difficult non-conference schedule, and they are peaking at just the right time of the year. The Great Danes can make a run in the NCAA Tournament.

Next up for UAlbany is Sacred Heart Wednesday night at home out of the MAAC conference.  Sacred Heart was undefeated in conference play this season and will be a formiddable oppponent.  MJ and I had on head coach Scott Marr earlier this morning as we have all season long every Monday right here on Big Board Sports.  Below is our full interview with him.

Best of luck to Scott Marr and his UAlbany team as they are talented and what he has been able to do here in Albany is extremely impressive as he's one of the best coaches in the country year in and year out.
