The New York Giants are off to a rough start with an 0-2 record thru just two weeks.  They are coming off of a brutal loss to the Washington Commanders in a divisional game out of the NFC East that they should've won.  They lost a game where the opponent kicked seven field goals and they scored three touchdowns.  The problem is their kicker Graham Gano got injured on the opening kickoff and then the Giants could not kick both extra points and field goals.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has a complete turnaround game on Sunday at Washington, and it still doesn’t produce a win. Wide receiver Malik Nabers had a great game until he dropped a gimme pass completion late in the 4th quarter that cost the Giants the win. Giants defense needs to be better, but Giants fans can’t blame this loss on Jones because he didn’t turn the ball over and he gave his team a chance to win the game.

The Giants have the Cleveland Browns coming up in week three and they will not be favored in the next eight games or so.  If things do not start to turn around soon, than Joe Schoen, Brian Daboll, and Daniel Jones will all be gone for next season.  john Mara wants to see success and significant improvement as he told reporters pre season.  Giants fans deserve better because they flat out stink right now and I don't see them getting better here soon.
