The Jets had injury added to insult on Sunday afternoon after a bad loss on the road at the Oakland Raiders.

One week after playing well against the Patriots, the Jets looked bad most of the afternoon in a 34-20 loss.

In addition to that, the Jets suffered several injuries, including to starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who left the game very early. In addition, his backup, the much-maligned Geno Smith, was also injured.

The Jets also had an injury to top receiver Brandon Marshall, who wouldn't provide much of an update on his status.

Obviously, these injuries have huge implications for the Jets. If they are without Fitzpatrick for any kind of time, can they stay afloat in the AFC playoff picture? Can they win with Geno Smith as a stopgap?

As I was watching Sunday Night Football last night, they reported that the Jets had already called potential QBs to bring in.
