The New York Knicks are on the brink of their tremendous season being over here with a pivotal game five at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.  The Knicks had it and blew game three on the road at Indiana and then got absolutely blown out in game four.  This will be one of if not the biggest Knicks playoff games within the last decade or so.  The Knicks are tired, injured, and have a depleted roster that only goes seven or eight guys deep.  It has been a crazy series so honestly who knows what will happen.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

It's a must win Game 5 on Tuesday for the New York Knicks fortunately the game is at Madison Square Garden. The depleted Knicks ran out of gas on Sunday and were embarrassed at Indiana and it's another quick turnaround, but the MSG crowd will help. The Knicks need to find enough energy to beat a much deeper Pacers team who would love to clinch on their home court in Game 6. New York will need a complete turnaround because they looked tired and way out of sync on Sunday.

I do think the Knicks will take game five at a wild MSG atmosphere and crowd, but I think it's going seven games no matter what.  The Pacers will win game six on Friday night as they haven't lost at home yet.  I like the Knicks in seven games and they will still advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.  This is a special team and it has been a special season.
