Is The New York Giants Season Officially Over Now?

The New York Giants season is now officially and finally over.  They now sit at 2-8 overall coming off of a devastating loss to the Carolina Panthers in Germany.  The Panthers are an awful football team and the Giants made them look good.  I'm sorry but it is time for Daniel Jones to get benched.  He is somehow regressing which is very hard to both believe and process.  The team is worse than last year and that starts with ownership and coaching.  If the Giants continue to lose than I don't see how John Mara can keep both Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

The Giants have hit rock bottom losing to the Carolina Panthers which runs their losing streak to five games with no end in sight. If the Giants don’t turn it around, they will leave Co-Owner John Mara no choice but to clean house and fire head coach Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen. The Giants are becoming and embarrassing team on both sides of the ball and when you lose to Carolina one of the worst teams in the NFL you know the issues is much bigger than quarterback Daniel Jones. The Giants look like a poorly coached team and it’s looked that way since they fired head coach Tom Coughlin and that’s why the Giants should seriously consider starting over when the season is officially over.

Next up for the Giants is a much needed bye week where they can hopefully fix some major issues internally.
