The New York Jets got an important AFC East divisional win against the Buffalo Bills with their 27-11 victory.

The Jets finally established the ground game they have been searching for all season long. Jets get 108 yards on the ground. Shonn Greene with 78 yards and LaDamian Tomlinson with 18 yards and a touchdown.

The Bills had been getting most of their wins so far this season by their advantage in the turnover battle. However, Sunday's game did not go in their favor as Fitzpatrick was picked off twice and Fred Jackson coughed up the ball on the ground while the Jets only turned the ball over twice.

The Jets dominated the game even in the first half, though costly penalties prevented them from scoring more than they did. Jets had 9 penalties for 60 yards but had over 37 minutes of total possession time. The Jets defense really controlled the game for gang green and set the tone all game long.

The Jets and Patriots square off next Sunday night as first place in the AFC East will be up for grabs.
