What a failure Aaron Rodgers was with the New York Jets.  He missed an entire season due to injury and when he played a healthy season the team was somehow even worse with less wins overall.  He controlled everything with the Jets and now with the new regime they are ready to move on from Rodgers and I think it is a great move.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

Not sure the New York Jets will find a better quarterback other than Aaron Rodger's for next season but with a new head coach it's time in a different direction. Aaron Glenn does not want to deal with all the non-sense Rodger's brings to the table and let's face it Rodger's likes to call the shots even though he's not the head coach. The Jets are better off next season with Tyrod Taylor at quarterback until Glenn can figure out who's the future quarterback. Rodger's is probably not done playing but the New York experiment is over.

Now the two questions are where will Aaron Rodgers play next year and who will be the next quarterback of the New York Jets?  Rodgers seems to be linked to my Pittsburgh Steelers and I am not sure how to feel about that yet.  The Jets have been linked to both Justin Fields and Kirk Cousins.  I love that the Jets will now have a completely fresh start.  It is time for them to start winning again and finally end the drought and get back to the NFL Playoffs.
