Head Coach Adam Gase must have the final say, because there is no other way to explain why General Manager Mike Maccagnan got fired. If the Jets were going to fire Maccagnan they should have fired him when got they got rid of head coach Todd Bowles, not after the Jets just completed one of their most successful off seasons in a longtime. Gase and Maccagnan were not on the same page and couldn’t work together, and you know they aren’t firing Gase, they just hired him. That meant Maccagnan had to go, which makes the Jets look bad.
