Just one year after the Jets gave up Darrelle Revis for a 2013 first round pick and a 2014 pick, the Tampa Buccaneers are done with him.

It had been rumored that newly hired Lovie Smith wasn't interested in Revis' services and a report from Fox Sports on Monday night confirmed that Tampa wants to go their separate ways.

While it was reported that the Bucs were previously trying to trade Revis, it's doubtful that they do it now.

If Revis is still on the roster by Wednesday at 4:01pm, then the Bucs owe the Jets a 3rd round pick instead of a 4th in this year's draft.

Therefore, it's anticipated that the Bucs will hang onto the 28-year old veteran past the mid-week deadline as he'll also count the Bucs $16 million against the cap.

Revis had 50 tackles and two interceptions last season at Tampa.
