Jets’ Safety Doug Middleton On Players With Malachi Jones [AUDIO]

While at Jets' Training Camp as part of the Labatt Blue Training Camp Tour we sat down with New York Jets' Safety Doug Middleton. Middleton not only joined us for the Top Five at Five he also recounted his days at Appalachian State where he played his college football with Albany Empire standout and current Chicago Bear Malachi Jones.

It was fun to hear Middleton's insight on various sports topics as well as how highly he regards his former teammate Malachi Jones. Middleton even made a trip to Albany to show his support for the Wide Receiver. Now that Malachi is getting his shot with the Bears in the NFL Middleton feels there's a strong chance that Jones will make the team as a member of Special teams and hopefully work his way into the offensive roster. Here's hoping he's right.
