Jets Sign Top Free Agent WR Eric Decker

The main goal for the New York Jets was to get a weapon or two for soon-to-be second-year quarterback Geno Smith. Well, 72 hours into free agency the Jets have done that.

Former Broncos free agent wide receiver Eric Decker has agreed to a five-year, $26.25 million contract with $15 million guaranteed.

The 27-year old has had two straight 1,000+ yard seasons and had a career-high 87 catches for almost 1,300 yards last season.

Decker arrived in New Jersey late Tuesday night and had dinner with the Jets staff on Wednesday evening. He told the Denver Post on Wednesday night that he would be inking with Gang Green.
