With the NBA Western Conference Finals tipping off tonight audio is making the rounds of Golden State Warriors' Kevin Durant on Portland Trailblazers' CJ McCollum 'Pull Up' podcast. In the podcast the two NBA stars have a very candid conversation about DeMarcus Cousins and where KD thinks Portland is on the NBA pecking order.

The podcast and some back and forth on Twitter all took place back in July of 2018 but now that the two teams are facing off it's all coming back. The oddest part is DeMarcus Cousins most likely won't play in the finals due to torn quad he suffered in game 2 of the Clippers series and Durant will miss at least game 1 with a calf strain.

Here's a transcript of the conversation between KD and CJ on the "Pull Up" podcast.

Durant: "Why are you mad about this stuff?"

McCollum: "Bro, I'm in the league. What do you mean why am I mad about this stuff? I'm in the Western Conference. I gotta play you MFers all the time anyway as it is, over and over again. We got eliminated by y'all a few times in the first round. So I'm looking at [Cousins] —

Durant: "I mean ... you know you guys aren't going to win a championship?"

McCollum: "We were right there at the top of things. We were the third seed last year, bro. We were right there. We were just slightly below one and two."

Durant: "But how'd you play?"

McCollum: "Some unfortunate situations happened in the first round."

Durant: "How'd you play?"

McCollum: "Some unfortunate circumstances."

Durant: "Like an eight seed."
