Boston Celtics big man Kevin Garnett will return for his sixth season in Beantown and the 18th season of his illustrious NBA career.

Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett has elected to bypass retirement for now.  Garnett has agreed to a three-year, $34 million deal, with the Celtics according to Yahoo! Sports.  Garnett has played the last five seasons for the Boston Celtics after playing the first 12 seasons of his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Garnett has averaged 19.3 points and 10.6 rebounds throughout his career.  He is known as one of the most intense players in NBA history (video above).  Kevin Garnett and the Boston Celtics will be in the Capital Region on October 20th to face the New York Knicks.  The preseason game will be at the Times Union Center.
