What Happened To The NY Knicks Vs The Boston Celtics On Saturday?

The New York Knicks continue to really frustrate me.  They laid another egg in a big primetime game this time at home vs the Boston Celtics.  They got blown out 131-104 and looked especially pathetic on defense.  Karl Anthony Towns played awful in the game and you would like to see their new superstar step up against the elite competition.  Instead he fell flat and was atrocious on defense.  Jalen Brunson had no help and the Knicks overall team defense continues to be an issue.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

For the second straight Saturday I watched the New York Knicks to embarrassed in barometer games to the Los Angeles Lakers and more importantly to the Boston Celtics. Karl Anthony Towns is supposed to be a difference maker for the Knicks, but in two games this season against the defending NBA champions he's been a non-factor. The Knicks were dominated on the boards, and their defense continues to be a major problem. Every time I think the Knicks are ready to take the next step and reach the Eastern Conference Finals, I watch them get destroyed by Boston at Madison Square Garden.
