Where Does This Boston Celtics Team Rank All Time In NBA History?
The Boston Celtics won their NBA record setting 18th NBA championship on Monday night. They went an overall 80-21 which is very impressive and I think one of the greatest seasons in NBA history. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown finally got their title as a duo and how about head coach Joe Mazzulla who has quite a story and journey to get to where he is today. Something tells me that they will win some more titles coming up here soon as this team is gonna stay with pretty much coming back next year. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
I did not enjoy watching a blowout in Game 5 of the NBA finals, but it capped off an historic season for the Boston Celtics. They were the best the best team start to finish, and they will be the best the best team next year too. The New York Knicks are still a superstar player away from making a championship run but if they land that player in the offseason, they will make life miserable for Boston next season.
The Celtics silenced several doubters who thought that they couldn't win or close out on the big stage. They beat a very good Dallas Mavericks team and only lost three games the entire playoffs. I'm a big Brad Stevens fan as most of you know and his job in the front office has been awesome as other teams should study how they have gone about their business because their roster construction has been perfect.
