Levack Wins Over “Boss level” Star Frank Grillo [INTERVIEW]

When I sat down to watch "Boss Level" to prepare for my interview with action star Frank Grillo I had no idea what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised with what I lovingly call "Groundhog Day on Adderall, Meth and Steroids." I was worried that calling his new movie a drug-induced version of Bill Murray's Groundhog Day would anger Grillo and I could see he was thinking the worst of how I set up the comparison. You need to see his reaction, it's priceless.

Grillo is currently in LA but you can hear in his voice how much he misses New York. The star of shows like "Kingdom" and a list of movie credits including Avengers as "Crossbones" and the guy that saves the day in more than one "Purge" movie comes across as the kinda guy you'd catch a Yankees or Giants game with. So he's easy to root for...you know as long as he isn't fighting Captain America.

"Boss Level" premieres on Hulu on March 3rd. Frank Grillo is joined by Mel Gibson, Naomi Watts, Ken Jeong, and even funny man Will Sasso in this time-bending action flick. Here's my attempt to do an interview on Zoom (please ignore the face to the right. I'm new to Zoom interviews lol).
