Mickey Callaway’s Future?

The New York Mets regular season wrapped up this past weekend. Unfortunately  for Mets fans in the Capital Region, their favorite team will not be playing meaningful baseball in October. For months, reports had been speculating that Callaway would not return as the Mets manager in 2020. Despite the reports below is the list on October 1st of open managerial jobs in the MLB.

Chicago Cubs

Kansas City Royals

Los Angeles Angels

Pittsburgh Pirates

San Diego Padres

San Francisco Giants

Yes Mickey Callaway is still currently employed. If Callaway has not been let go by now, there is a chance he will be back for the Mets in 2020.
