The 2019 Major League Baseball regular season has yet to wrap up but already the league is preparing for its 2020 season. According to a recent article on ESPN.com the 2020 season will begin the regular season on March 26th. All Major League baseball franchises have not played on Opening Day since 1968. There is an indication that the 2020 season could be the year to end that streak. No official word on if all Major League Baseball teams will all play on other holidays including Memorial Day, Fourth of July or Labor Day. The New York Yankees are tentatively scheduled to open their season in a series against the Baltimore Orioles.
