They don't use the phrase "protect yourself at all times" in boxing and MMA for no reason.  A fighter featured in the video learned this lesson the hard way.

How awesome is this video?  I absolutely love it.  To me, the guy who gets knocked out represents every meathead and fake tough guy.  It was nice to see the fighter who tried to act incredibly macho get knocked right back on his butt.

There is a reason why sayings stick around for so long in sports.  There is a lot of truth to the phrase “defense wins championships.”  Why?  Because defense often wins championships.  The phrase “protect yourself at all times” is kinda important in boxing and mixed martial arts.  Hopefully, the knucklehead who got knocked out learned this lesson albeit the hard way.
