After years of anticipation and countless trailers and teasers, the moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. Tonight at midnight the Dark Knight officially rises.


This afternoon the Washington Nationals paid tribute to the Christopher Nolan film in a way that only they can. Literally. While getting routed by the Mets, behind a 2 home run effort by David Wright, the Nats dressed Teddy Roosevelt and Abe Lincoln up like Bane and Batman for their 7th inning race. The costumes looked like they were thrown together on short notice, but the race was entertaining, and of course, Teddy lost.
