Four Corners Pharmacy was a staple in the Delmar community for over fifteen years. It closed in November of 2020. It was the last independent drug store in town. Now the building will be housing a new restaurant. It may be just what the doctor ordered.

What is Going Into The Old Four Corners Pharmacy?

A new eatery called Grove Bistro will be going into the old Four Corners Pharmacy at 360 Delaware Avenue in Delmar.

There is signage on the building that reads "Grove Bistro" with the "O" containing a tree. The landscaping consists of large shrubs, a white picket fence, and flowers. Also, according to the Times Union, they are renovating the inside of the restaurant. There is no word on when Grove Bistro may open.

What Do We Know About Grove Bistro?

Not much, apparently, they aren't on social media nor have a website. There are also no papers filed through the state. The State Liquor Authority doesn't have a liquor license filed for Grove Bistro.

What Happened to Four Corners Pharmacy?

John Croce and Paul Pagnotta opened Four Corners Pharmacy back in 2005. They moved to that location on Delaware Ave in 2013 but decided to close in 2020. John went to work with an organization called Community Pharmacy Enhanced Pharmacy Network which is a grassroots pharmacy. Paul went to manage the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences according to Spotlight News. 

It's Lake George Restaurant Week Through June 18th-Check Out The Eateries Participating

It's time for the semi-annual Lake George restaurant week. Restaurant Week 2022 will be featuring New York grown or produced ingredients as part of the Taste NY Restaurant Week Challenge. The special promotional price of $30 for a three-course meal includes only the specific menu choices curated by the participating restaurants. Reservations are recommended.
