TMZ is reporting that sports shoe and apparel giant NIKE has decided they're "sticking by" US women's soccer goalie Hope Solo. A NIKE rep told TMZ "Our relationship with Hope Solo has not changed. We are sticking by her and the USA Women's soccer team."

Solo was involved in alleged domestic violence incident back in 2014 involving her 17 year old nephew and sister. New details recently surfaced that Solo was verbally abusive to the police during her arrest. Solo insisted on being called Mrs. Stevens, since she's married to former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens.   The report also says, "During the fingerprinting of Mrs. Stevens she made numerous statements that I was not worth anything and should be proud to have such authority."

NIKE is coming under fire because they have parted ways in the past with athletes such as Ray Rice for domestic violence. Many would like to know why they are "sticking by" Solo.
