We've all been pulled over by the police at some point in our lives and it can be pretty scary. Now if the officers feel the need to have their guns drawn it becomes REAL scary. New York Yankees' General Manger felt that fear when he was stopped by police at gunpoint.

Cashman's Jeep had been stolen and recovered but the police of Darien, Connecticut didn't know Cashman had recovered his Jeep. You can hear Cashman say something to the effect of "I picked it up" in the beginning of the video. The police at this point still not sure who he is shut him down until they do in fact recognize the Yankees's GM.

"You look very familiar to me," the cop says ...

“I’m the GM of the New York Yankees,” Cashman responds.

“Yeah, I know,” the cop replies ... “I used to see you at Brook Street Bagels when I was an Eastchester cop. I apologize for the embarrassment."

Ultimately all is well that ends well and as expected Cashman handled the situation with class. "I have high respect for all law enforcement. They do an amazing job whether you’re in Connecticut and New York City -- and sometimes unique circumstances can occur."
