Rockies Fly to Miami …Like Backstreet Boys

The Colorado Rockies just finished their mini 2-game sweep of the New York Yankees. Needless to say the team was pretty pumped considering they are one of the worst in the league and were expected to be swept by the Yankees instead.

As they prepared to board their flight to Miami to face the Marlins this weekend, the team posed for a picture, but not just any picture. Take a look for yourself:

For a second I had to double-take to really understand what I was seeing. The first thing that came to mind was the Backstreet Boys. Why in the world this became a thing is absolutely beyond me.

Also...WHAT IS THAT?

The Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon does this with his guys all the time, but they do it as a joke and a team bonding activity. This is just awkward.
