Ronda Rousey In Albany This Week

One of the biggest stars in both Mixed Martial Arts and the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Ronda Rousey, is in Albany this week.

Rousey isn't jumping in the octagon but instead will be taking the state Assembly head on in an effort to legalize MMA in New York, the only state not to do so.

“It’s pretty much ridiculous that MMA is not regulated here," said Rousey, to the New York Daily News, on Sunday night.

The 28-year old Rousey is hopeful that this will be the  year that New York legalizes MMA.
