Should New York Jets Fans Be Concerned With Their Team At All?
The New York Jets got a much needed win on Sunday on the road at the Tennessee Titans. Although it was not pretty by any means, all that matter is that they won. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers finally got his first career win as a New York Jet. The defense still doesn't look great overall but at least a little better. The offensive line has been significantly better as opposed to last year too. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
If the New York Jets didn't have Aaron Rodger's at quarterback on Sunday, they don't beat Tennessee. Rodgers was not spectacular by any means, but he makes just enough plays and knows how to run the offense that the Jets were able to get a much-needed win. The Jets don't beat the Titans with Zach Wilson at quarterback, but with Rodger's a future Hall of Fame quarterback running the show the Jets will have a chance to win every Sunday. It's kind of like the ace of the baseball team who's counted on to keep their team in the game every time he steps to the mound. Long way to go but Rodger's showed on Sunday why he can lead the Jets to many more wins this season.
Next up are the New England Patriots on Thursday night which will be a very tough game. The AFC East looks very competitive this season and the Jets will be right in the thick of it too.
