After dropping its first game as the No. 2 seed in the MAAC tournament, the Siena Saints won four consecutive games to capture the MAAC title and advance to the NCAA tournament for the second time in the program's history.

The Saints beat Canisius by scores of 6-5 and 5-1 on Sunday. They'll play Texas Christian on Friday night in the Regionals.

The Saints, who started out the year 0-17 thanks to a difficult early-season schedule, are now 26-31 on the year.

Vincent Citro was named a Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week after hitting .700 (14-20) in the tournament. He also started a game-ending double play with the bases loaded in the ninth inning of the first championship game against Canisius to preserve the win.
