We have written much about the new coaches that Siena College has brought in, especially with both the mens and ladies basketball team. Now it is about a successful coach that has left the program.

Siena announced the Womens head Lacrosse coach Andrea Cofrin has left the program after 5 seasons at the helm.

Cofrin leaves to take over the lacrosse program at Division 2  Saint Anselm College, which is located in Manchester, New Hampshire.

2 ways to look at Cofrin's tenure. She guided the Lady Saints to 4 MAAC tournaments in her 5 years at the top. She is also the winningest coach in the programs history.

However that mark comes with a dose of reality. Cofrin's overall record is 31-50 and in the MAAC conference she is 12-18. This past season, Cofrin's team went 4-12, including 3-3 in conference play.
