HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) — Brett Bisping scored 16 points and hauled in 10 rebounds to help Siena outlast Quinnipiac 72-70 on Thursday night.

Bisping split a pair of free throws to tie it at 66 late in the second half after an Evan Conti jumper. Zaid Hearst followed with a 3-pointer to give Quinnipiac the lead with 49 seconds left.

Lavon Long missed his second free throw, but Bisping tied it with a putback. James Ford couldn't hit a 3-pointer following a Rob Poole free throw, and Long hit two more from the stripe to lead by three with 7 seconds left. Justin Harris was fouled on the ensuing possession, and split the free throws for the final margin.

Poole and Long each had 13 points for Siena (14-16, 10-9 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference).

Ike Azotam had 15 points with 10 boards, and Ousmane Drame had 12 and 10 for Quinnipiac (19-9, 14-5).
