Earlier in the week, Syracuse University and UAlbany announced that their school's football teams would be battling on the gridiron in 2021. In less than a week, another capital region athlete has gained potential future ties to Syracuse University. According to a recent article by syracuse.com the Orange have offered Albany Academy's Andre Jackson a scholarship. The six foot six teenager will be a sophomore this season at Albany Academy. According to outlets  Jackson's recruitment was helped by soon to be Washington Husky and former Albany Academy star Hameir Wright. Jackson, then a freshman, was spotted by college coaches interested in offering Hameir Wright.  A small sample size of Jackson's highlights are below.
